Akmeninė Rezidencija
About This Spot
Stepping into Akmeninė Rezidencija, you immediately sense a serene retreat where time quiets just enough to savor both nature and thoughtfully crafted flavors. Nestled in the gentle, wooded outskirts of Brazuoles kaimas near Trakai, this lakeside haven unfolds at an easy pace, inviting lingering moments on sun-dappled terraces and beside the water’s edge. The thatched roof and rustic wooden details offer a warm welcome that feels part nostalgic countryside home and part secluded refuge.
The atmosphere here is calm yet quietly celebratory — a place where the soft hum of distant conversations blends with the subtle soundtrack of rustling leaves and lapping water. Whether you find yourself seated on the quaint bridge over the lake or under the gentle shade of towering trees, there’s a grounded comfort that encourages connection to both the surrounding nature and the flavors on your plate.
Food at Akmeninė Rezidencija is a thoughtful journey through the rich culinary traditions of the Caucasus, presenting familiar and lesser-known dishes that celebrate the region’s hearty, soulful character. Plates arrive with thoughtful detail: richly spiced lamb chops and tender veal fillets share the table with smoky grilled vegetables and slow-cooked stews, each bite layered with warmth and honest freshness. Sauces infused with vibrant herbs and native spices accompany these dishes, inviting gentle exploration beyond the main flavors. This is not just a meal but a moment to absorb a sense of place — grounded in the earthiness of local ingredients and the comforting rhythms of shared storytelling over food.
There’s a quiet attentiveness in the way the team here moves through the space: service feels familiar without being overbearing, reinforcing the feeling that you’ve come somewhere genuinely attentive to your experience, not just the food.
As the afternoon sun softens or evening shadows stretch across the lake, Akmeninė Rezidencija quietly settles into its role as a restorative escape — one that offers a pause from the busier edges of Trakai, where guests can settle in, soak up the views, and rediscover simple pleasures in a thoughtful setting.

Delicious food, great friendly service and beautiful place! One of the best places in Trakai

Great peaceful place to have a meal away from the main crowds around Trakai. Great food. Not sure if it is authentic Georgian but tastes great and lots of choices. Lake front dining, pretty garden and nice thatched roof building. Enjoyed my lunch here thoroughly.

I would like to tell about my favourite restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional Caucasian cuisine in a calm, relaxing atmosphere. In front of the entrance there is a summer terrace where guests can enjoy the view of the lake with a cup of coffee. Quiet music is played in the background. Prices in this restaurant are affordable. Waiters are very attentive and can assist with the choice of the dishes.

Amazing place to visit. The view is sensational, they also have places available directly on the lake (the bridge) where you can relax and enjoy the calmness and beauty of nature. The quality of food is amazing, everything you could ever wish for in such a place - perfectly grilled beef, fish, veggies and much more. Been there many times and never got any problems regarding the food, so comments such as “food poisoning” are simply absurd, no one who visited this place could probably explain where are they coming from. The portions are big, food is prepared perfectly, staff is really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is really welcoming. Definitely recommend to visit!

This place for years was my top choice around Vilnius for quality shashlik. Was closed for some time during covid, but this seasin reopened with new updated menu. The quality and attention to detail is still there, but dishes are more upscale now (e.g. the new crayfish spoup). And also, what others have mentioned - situated just outside Trakai, on the lakeshore, a perfect place to enjoy nice summer evening and quality food

The view is sensational from the restaurant, such a beautiful location to be placed. We felt super welcomed and well treated, food was another level. Everything tasted so fresh and it is awesome to be able to see the chefs working from your seat outside. We had a big party and were well catered to. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend, everything was also well priced!

Was pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful place to stay so close to Vilnius. Yurts and little villas are perfect for two to four people, each of them has a place to grill meat and a very convenient entrance to the lake. There's also a sauna for extra fee and it's also great! Overall all the structures blends wonderfully into surrounding nature!

Beautiful wedding venue, a really well hidden gem which has a personal, charming feel. Ridiculously hot and humid day which meant everywhere was sweltering to stay in, maybe the only addition would have been some air-con in the rooms or some ventilation. Absolutely love the crocodile bar!
